Patrick Higgins was born in Dublin, Ireland. He is the author of six books including The Silent World of Nicholas Blake, The Bad Mother's Handbook, Mastermind and The Lost World of Pluto. Patrick Higgins is a regular contributor to the Irish Times, Irish Independent, Irish Sun, New York Times, Sunday Independent. He has also written for the London Times, London Review of Books, Irish Times Magazine. He has spoken at writing conferences in Amsterdam, Sydney, Los Angeles, San Francisco and at the Edinburgh International Book Festival.
